I would like to welcome you to my art teaching blog. My name is Corinna Moore and I am an art and design teacher originally from Dublin and now residing in Cork. I studied Sculpture at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin and have also completed a higher diploma in education at Crawford College of Art in Cork. I decided to put up this blog as a resource for others and also as a good way of organising my own art and teaching portfolio. I found that when I was studying that teaching blogs stood as an invaluable resource for ideas and inspiration so it's time to put a little back out there. I will start by showing some examples of my own practice outside of education with the rest of the blog being dedicated to looking at artworks created through my work with community art or teaching (post-primary and adult) and general inspirations or events.

The Evidence project 35mm slides were then later used part of a light box. This work could inspire a project where students could use old 35mm film and then use the slides in a light sculpture of some kind.
